Ryan Manthy is the 2024 recipient of the Abraham Lincoln Civic Engagement award.
Ryan is an outstanding student, pursuing a co-terminal degree in Computer Science with a minor in Bioinformatics. In addition to his studies, Ryan served as an integral member of the Illinois Tech Student Government Association during the 23-24 academic year, serving as Vice Chair of the student Finance Board.
Outside of his coursework and involvement in numerous student organizations at Illinois Tech, Ryan is a recipient of several notable awards; including the Obama-Chesky Voyager Scholarship, the Leadership Academy Scholarship, and the Civic Digital Fellowship. Ryan has also been recognized as a SoReMo Fellow, highlighting his commitment to social responsibility and mentorship.
