Illinois Tech has several of its own competitive scholarship programs that are open to undergraduate students. All domestic undergraduate first-year and transfer students are automatically considered for scholarships that cover a generous portion of expenses such as tuition.

Need-Based Financial Aid
Need-based financial aid may be awarded during the admission process.
Stuart School of Business Scholarships
All Stuart School of Business graduate students are automatically reviewed for merit-based and need-based financial aid awards at the time of admission to Illinois Tech.
- Award availability and amounts vary from program to program
- Award amounts for merit-based scholarships are tiered based on your academic credentials
- Financial aid awards are prorated and are spread evenly across the courses needed for the degree
- Students seeking joint Stuart degrees are only eligible for one Stuart scholarship
- Financial aid awards are deferrable up to one year
Students currently receiving the Beacon Education program tuition discount, or who are enrolled in a program through Coursera, are not eligible for financial aid awards.

Stuart Doctoral Scholarship
The Stuart Doctoral Scholarship is available for select students pursuing a Ph.D. in Finance or a Ph.D. in Management Science and Analytics. Scholarship values vary; in academic year 2024–25, the maximum award is $425 per credit hour, with a maximum of 60 credit hours of coverage. The Doctoral Scholarship can only be applied toward Stuart tuition charges.
