Kelly A. Kazukauskas

Kelly Kazukauskas is a clinical associate professor, core faculty member and Director of the Division of Counseling and Rehabilitation Science. She joined the faculty at Illinois Tech in 2012 and is responsible for teaching courses in counseling theory and clinical counseling skills, as well as the clinical supervision courses related to both practicum and internship experiences. Kazukauskas is the clinical coordinator for the Rehabilitation and Mental Health Counseling program, which includes the placement, training and clinical supervision of students. She is the admissions coordinator as well.

Kazukauskas received her Ph.D. in Psychology with an emphasis on Rehabilitation Counselor Education from Illinois Institute of Technology in 2006 and has been teaching ever since. She is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) in the state of Illinois, a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor (CRC), and a Certified Vocational Evaluator (CVE). Prior to teaching she worked extensively in the rehabilitation and mental health counseling field serving persons with traumatic brain injury and persons with developmental disabilities, and held several directorial positions in both vocational and human services programs.
